The ability of aging services programs to plan and prepare can make a big difference in safety and resiliency in the wake of a natural or man-made disaster. Being able to quickly recover requires a focus on preparedness, advance planning, and knowing what to do in the event of a disaster. American Red Cross programs and services can assist with preparedness, from the smallest to catastrophic events.
Attendees joined Monica Montoya, Partnerships Manager, Disaster Cycle Services from the National Headquarters of the American Red Cross as she shared the basics of disaster preparedness. Attendees learned how the Red Cross can assist your aging services organization before, during and after a disaster. Following this webinar, attendees were (more) prepared to address the health, safety and food needs of the clients you serve.
